One of my best friends (Sydney) is diabetic, and this is definitely accurate. All of our friends probably know way too much about diabetes so we can take care of her when she needs us to. My favorite “Shit People Say To Diabetics” she’s told me about is, “Oh my ______ is diabetic. Do you know him/her?” Lol she’s always like…umm no, I don’t know every diabetic in the world. We don’t have a special diabetes club or anything.
